Austria Checklist for Tourist Visa

Type- 1 Month

Documents required

1. One application completed and signed by the applicant.
2. 1 recent passport photograph with white background showing name of the applicant on the back side (In English).
3. Valid Passport (6 months validity after return) and copy of all passport pages showing personal data, plus previous Schengen Visas.
4. Civil ID copy (3 Months Validity after return date).
5. Hotel Reservation OR copy for accommodation in Austria.
6. Airline Ticket and Copy to any destination in Austria or Train Tickets or Car Reservation.
7. All Risk Health and Travel Insurance with minimum coverage of EURO 30.000, per person valid for all Schengen Countries (Valid for the whole trip)
8. Additional documents and copies might be requested in some cases.
9. Financial means

For visa-applicants (Non – Kuwaiti Residence):

1. Bank statement: copy of the applicant’s bank account dating back at least 6 months and showing sufficient assets.
2. Confirmation of employment / Letter of employment indicating Status of employment and amount of monthly salary.
3. Sponsors signature approval of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce or Ministry of Social Affairs.

For visa-applicants being family members and service-staff:

• Copy of the sponsor's civil-ID-card
• Bank statement of sponsor if the sponsor is holder of a Kuwaiti residence permit

Please note: The visa must be applied for in person. All documentation must be submitted in English language. For children registered in a parent’s passport, a separate application form must be submitted. Original documents must be presented along with photocopies.
